Tablescape Design For Your Holiday.

A seat at natures table

With Thanksgiving on the Horizon we're inspired ever more by natures dramatic shifts to bring the feel of Vermont Autumnal elegance into the home. Our communal spaces will see an elevated flurry of happenings in the coming weeks and months. We're here to help you meet these moments with grace and charm. Here, one of our favorite and most customizable options for entertainment design, the table scape. Table scapes offer a mixed bag of  choices and elements. Things like Color scheme, height, and texture should play a considerable role in the planning process. Our advice to you is to keep it cohesive, and as natural as possible. Designing with the season automatically sets the foundation for effortless looking results. Vessels (shape and size), tapered candles, candle sticks, glassware, table settings and floral arrangements are elements we've chosen to show you in this gorgeous example. We're all for seasonality here and an organic feel can also be a simplistic one.  This blueprint will work for the minimalist to the maximalist and everyone in between.

Below are a few of the more important elements we’ve chosen to incorporate into our holiday design.

The Vessel(s)

We've chosen earth toned stoneware and creamy ceramics. Tis the season for neutrals and deep colors. This will also allow any subtle pops of color you choose to incorporate to really stand out.

Candles and Candle

sticks

We're spotlighting a chunky tapered beeswax candle in our layout here. Beeswax candles have a brighter flame and the muted tones of their wax tie nicely into a very harvested theam, not to mention their subtle sweetness will fill the room without overpowering the space. Pair these candles with candle sticks of varying heights to create visual flow.

Florals

We’ve locally sourced these gorgeous flowers from Blume Vermont. Stunning Chrysanthemums, fragrant Eucalyptus and a few sprigs of preserved textural elements really give these statement arrangements balance and flow. Don’t have access to fresh local flowers? search for striking branches or dried grains, pods or grasses. Also use gourds as unique, festive décor.
