Simple Rustic Thanksgiving Table

As the spectacular season of giving thanks rapidly approaches, I, myself, am beyond thankful and excited this year to be a part of the Thankful bHome Bloggers’ Tour! The tour is not only full of amazing holiday spread ideas, but it also includes a pretty fantastic giveaway. I just know you will find an exorbitant amount of inspiration for your own Thanksgiving festivities from a glance through these beautiful homes.

For those of you who know me or follow Teaselwood, you know I LOVE thanksgiving, a full day dedicated to celebrating all that we’re thankful for. In fact, we at Teaselwood try our very best to be mindful of all we’re thankful for on a daily basis! So as soon as cozy November peeks its head around spooky Halloween, I delve into all the wonderful fall foods I want to invite to our Thanksgiving Day feast. I usually start by gathering up my home magazines and pulling recipe ideas to begin a draft of my menu. As a foodie at heart, I like to mix it up and create unique dishes every year. This year, our Cardamom Apple Cake  that turned out to be a huge hit at our house, and will be a headliner at our feast.

Equally as important as establishing a menu of deliciousness at Thanksgiving time is creating an inviting Thanksgiving tablescape. One such tablescape – an absolute favorite of mine – can be seen here: Easy Rustic Elegance Thanksgiving Table. I’m thrilled to repost this as it was our very first post (butterflies!) and many of our current wonderful readers such as yourself may not have seen it. The title says it all. Easy. Rustic. Elegance. That’s my ultimate goal each year when Turkey Day rolls around.

Rustic Elegant Thankgiving Table

We have a small family, so the intimacy of this table setting really fits us perfectly. It’s remarkable how pulling together a simple arrangement can add so much to an otherwise ordinary table setting. Moral of the story, er, post? Just because it’s Thanksgiving doesn’t mean you have to go crazy with full linens and over-the-top table settings. Quite frankly, I’ve learned over the years that keeping it simple and intimate is sometimes (let’s face it, MOST of the time) much more fun for everyone.
